|
|
The St. Cloud Area CVB has created a geocaching event to celebrate the City's sesquicentennial. There will be caches placed at historic sites in St. Cloud. During the three weeks of the event (June 19-July 8, 2006), geocachers finding caches are eligble for fun geocaching related prizes. For each cache found, you'll earn another prize entry!
We are also hosting a free GPS/geocaching training for the public to introduce geocaching to more people and to encourage broader involvement.
Please join us for our celebration! More information can be found at www.granitecountry.com. The caches will not be posted until June 19. |

I would be perfectly happy to second the nomination for Lucid to do the presentation

I fear I'd scare too many of them away with my lack of tact. Z man is much more wholesome. _________________ The Lucid Network (tm)-- More Bars in More Places! |

Sounds like fun. I'll make sure to put it on the calendar and hope there's no medallion hunts going on.
with all these contests and medallion hunts going, I'm gonna have to keep a schedule... whoa.... |

LOL, since the Chippewa Valley event was a good 150 miles one way, I *suppose* I can make the 20-minute trip up to St. Cloud for this one.
I am just 10 minutes south of the 2nd Monticello exit on 94. To the cachers that keep telling me I'm too far to visit, there can be NO excuse for not stopping by now if you are doing this one - yeah, that's right buddy, you know who you are!!!

Hey Slient Bob, according to the event's website:
"There is FREE GPS/Geocaching Training"
Maybe you can attend that, and not suck at caching so much....
