OK, since nobody else has posted it, and since GP and Lucid said I should do it this week, I'm being lazy and picking one I found today on my day off and another that's right nearby, with food at Granite City afterwards (and yes SB, I don't think there are any other bars nearby )
So, this week it will be:
Yo Yo Yo
then Lakeside
Hey, look...a new cache just showed up nearbySeek Small Cache...yet again a new cache just in time for weeknight caching, who woulda thunk it.
I'll try to get parking coordinates tomorrow after work, and I'll see if I can "find" another hide nearby. edit Parking Coords: 44 52.474 93 08.498
After caching at Granite City in Eagan, coords to follow when I feel like browsing through old events I set up
and as an added bonus (for GP probably), there are two caches right nearby Granite City that he probably hasn't done so he can do pre/post bar if he likes while I have some Stout
That work?

OK, since I'm getting such a huge response on this one...anyone want to just skip this week and postpone until next week? That will give me more time to check out the park and see if I can't find another hidden cache somewhere

Sorry, I didn't see your post until just now. I might go if a couple other people are interested, otherwise we might as well wait until next week. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Of course! Good to hear from you Cooky. Funny, I was just checking your recent finds last night wondering where you went. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

OK, since there's at least more than just myself and GP, I guess we're on. After caching refreshments at:
(yes, I did say I was going to run back and steal it from an old post )
I'll head out there tonight to see about the possibility of another cache in the area.

I'm not going to bother w/the caching but I will probably show up for the drinks. Maybe I'll drag Chris along as well. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

We need WeekNIGHT Guinness. |
We had that a couple weeks back when Polarone set it up...she called around the bars nearby to find out who had Guiness, and Lucid and I enjoyed our beverages
And I like the Granite City stout...plus it's cheap

I got a cooler full of ice! And a portable BBQ! If the park has a pic a nik table or two we would be good to go! All we would need is a menu of some kind. and of course Guinness. BRILLIANT! _________________ A Crazed Gyration of the Rock Generation |

Actually, that is something I hadn't thought about...there is a lake there and a covered little area with picnic tables. So this is an option I guess...anyone else think it's a decent idea?
Heck, with the little lake, I'll check tonight, but I'm decently sure Moe could bring along his yak and get to the caches that way
