Someone should make a WeekNIGHT Caching t-shirt with the "WeekNIGHT Cacher's Creed" written on the back. It should say exactly that! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

ITEMS NEEDED!!!
The people who are preparing the games need burlap bags.
Also come prepared to share your favorite KB story or experience.
Probably will need charcoal and lighter and stuff if anyone is planning on grilling their food.
Long time ago I gave my enormous roll of red prize tickets to somebody for a different event -- if it was you, I need them back
Also I would kind of like to know who is placing temp caches that morning? |

Sweet! I'm just finally listening to the Podcacher Podcache and they are announcing about this event on it. They're asking for some audio of the event, so I think Zman is required to be there now And you can just tell your wife that the Podcacher told you too

RE: KB Event geocoin..... (this info applies ONLY to the KB event coin!)
I am getting asked the same questions over and over during the past week, so maybe posting here will help (maybe)
Yes, you can buy as many geocoins as you want on the day of the event - you do not HAVE to reserve coins. The reservation system is just for those who want a special coin to represent a first find, a FTF, a LTF, favorite cache, etc. There will be plenty of random # coins available that day if you don't care what number you get.
If you do not know what number a certain cache is, go ahead and ask and I'll find out. It helps if you also give me the GC number. (just FYI, #42 is gone -- 7 people have already asked for it - first request got it) There are still plenty of other numbers available.
The sole reason they are sooooooo cheap for that day only is because I do not have to spend the time to list them, auction them, pack them, mail them, track them, etc. Selling them F2F is easier for me and turns out being a good deal for those who believe the cost of geocoins is inflated. After the event, I have to consider paypal fees and ebay fees and postage and gas and mailing supplies so the base price will go up.
Yes. they are gc trackable AND sequentially numbered
Yes, they do have a custom icon (the ammo can and the crown)
No, they are not personal coins - they are event coins. Personal coins usually have prefix PC####..... these are prefix KB#### and are released to commemorate KB's 1000th hide.
This is not a presale - pay for them at the event (cash or check, no paypal)
If you are not at the event, you ought to send a friend after your coins
No, I am not considering coin trades at the event for the KB coins
Yes they are in hand, there will not be any last minute delivery problems from the factory
No, nobody can have theirs early, come to the event
I think that's it |

You got me beat with your first year and a half. My current goal as far as hides is to make it to 100 and then Quit. I don't know how KB can handle that many caches and still be able to get most of them checked if there are problems with them.
I can't see ever having the chance to get that 1000 cache as a find. That cache is just..... Theres just too much area to cover. Unless it is still active when I retire, but wait a minute, I don't know if KB would still be around to get me the waypoint for the cache itself by that time. That's only about 30 years away. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

IMPORTANT!!!
I am in desperate need a bed or a couch for CCCOOPER on Wednesday night. (7/12)
She needs an overnight for that night only.... she has a ride from the airport already - you don't need to get her or anything.
The bed that was previously arranged had another commitment and can't do it after all. The rest of the nights are already taken. Wednesday only!
Please??????? |
