I have been thinking about doing this for some time but because I'm lazy and I don't want to drive anywhere this week, I'm going to be a bum -- a real bum.
We are going to do *my* own cache, that isn't exactly new, that I know only two WNC cachers have done.
Dupree's Diamond Blues: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=72536de7-2e0e-4c7f-97fd-ab2496529626
Because this is a multi that isn't in one park and the first part is a virtual, we are going to meet at the bar first, do the second stage, and then hit the final via carpool. Sound good? Good.
Meet at:
Major's Sports Cafe
14889 Florence Trl
Apple Valley, MN 55124
44 43.948
93 12.398
We'll go from there.
edit to update coordinates, whoops _________________ Sad state of affairs.

I'll do my best to make it this week. Even if it's only to cheer you all on. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Well, you might need to find it again because it didn't take you long enough the first time _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Trying to get the hall pass. I am really hoping to get to this one, because I love the idea of having the libations prior to the hunt! This could get very entertaining. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

It won't be prior. We are just meeting there because the parking at the "real" first stage is limited and the first stage itself (because of a theif or a doofus) went missing and is now a virtual. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

That really depends on how early Gilby, Lucid and I get to the bar parking lot...it's thirsty work waiting for everyone else to show up

So, you're pitting precaching against beer...
Too bad I can't do both, simultaneously. I might trip over a log and spill my beer. _________________ The Lucid Network (tm)-- More Bars in More Places! |

There are plenty of other caches to do in the area that include ammo boxes in city parks where 90% of other cachers would put a micro in a geobeacon.
The crazy ideas people have in Apple Valley! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Pre WeekDay caching:
PolarOne and I are planning to hit these: (PolarOne will join us after she is done with work.)
GCJY7X
GCVBQ4
GCJK40
GCTMFB
GCP8BA
GCRE4N
GCN0F8
GCRTG1
GCMYZQ
GCNCYR
GCHGK2
GCJZJ9
GCJMB0
GCJHWM
GCJZJ6
GCRVBN
GCK4GJ
GCHKA7
GCT6WD
I get off at 1530 and can be there about 1630 at the first point listed. We can then go from closest point to closest point until it is time for weeknight caching, hitting as many as possible. |
