| We spent the weekend in Chippewa Valley camping and caching. What a great combination! We found all of the event caches except for two. We didn't pay to go to the state park to find the one, and a DNF on Chippewa River Trail - North Branch. We searched for that one for over and hour... found a couple places that sounded correct according to the logs/clue, but no luck. I'd love to know if someone found it since then (June 11th). We saw a lot of really neat places! We'll have to go back again to spend more time in some of those parks. We had great weather and lots of fun! Lots of deer and wildflowers! Thanks for a great event! |

Got my geocoin today - very nice.
If you haven't, I urge you to call the Visitor's Bureau:
(888) 523-3866
Those were some [inappropriate comment removed by software] caches.
Thanks to everyone involved. |

| On my way back from Ft McCoy today I stopped by and dropped off my sheets. Got my coin and had a nice conversation with the lady there. Did a few caches in the area too while waiting for them to open. |

So now that the event is over, I saw the Chippewa Valley caches are now starting to show up on GC.com - I wonder if our finds (and our FTF's) stand and we can now log them with the actual date we visited (if the original logbooks are still in there?) or if we all have to go back now? I just dropped Kent an e-mail, hopefully some more news soon. Whee!

Zuma just logged FTF on GCWNR9 with the following log:
"June 19 by zuma! (1921 found)
FTF during the event. Great spot."
I can only assume we're all good to go and do the same thing, so have fun! Too bad Kent1915 didn't provide a cross-reference for the caches, but in case anyone needs it:
GCWNR9 = CVGC006
GCWNR1 = CVGC003
It just figures that I had two DNF's while there, and GCWNR1 ends up being one of them. Oh well, gives me an excuse to stop back! Thanks,
-Ken |

Forbbiden Forest is posted
Any chance we can get Kent to update this page with the ones that will be posted or are posted? |

Two more are up! Of course, two that I didn't search for!
Big Pine by zuma! (GCWPH8) = CVGC026
and
Lake Eau Claire by zuma! (GCWPHA) = CVGC027
Have fun!
