Got my list almost done.
I've also decided to start releasing some coins into circulation myself. They have a special rule though, NO puzzle caches. I'm not sure if the going trend is to just swap out coins in puzzle caches (maybe because puzzles aren't as frequented in hope of less muggle interruption?), or that I'm just not seeing them show up much in other caches, but I tend to see more funky icons next to question marks so I thought I'd give average joe cacher a chance at some new icons.
That is all. |

I think part of what you're seeing is the fact that the coins STAY in puzzle caches longer, sometimes *days*, which is an eternity for a coin. So when you look at the cache lists, you'll see the icons there...Trust me, plenty of coins are hitting 'regular' caches as well, but they're often leaving again on the same day, or the following morning, so you're not seeing them on your lists. You'll see what I mean when you start releasing them! The more coins the merrier though, can't wait to see 'em out there...thanks!

I have one of Fsu*nole's NY coins up here on "The Range."
Great looking coin and it's fun to have a few of them floudering
around amidst the iron ore and water. These coins.. I can see now
why there is such interest..................

| I am releasing about a dozen of my geocoins with a luggage-tag sized tags on them explaining how to log them. I have one specially for puzzle caches but it wouldn't fit in the last puzzle cache that I found. The rest will go into regular caches. |

Aigh, I've been "outed" and I'm not ready yet!! The coin descriptions are on my profile, but I won't have scanned pictures on there until later tonight - so you can't actually SEE what they look like until later, all you'll know is that they exist and someone other than you has one.
Don't worry though, I'll be buying bucketfuls to drop in caches (if the creator of the coin will let me, that is), with some for trading and prizes etc, and I suspect at least for awhile there will be *tons* of these showing up in local caches - so take a few deep breaths and try to be patient, everyone will have a chance at 'em soon. They sure turned out great, they're worth the wait!

Bah, now I know I'm only a second class geocoin collector
Guess that just means I'll have to get my personal coin minted before Ken does |

Great job on the coin, awesome. Let me know when I can distribute some of these to my MN homies out here in SoCal.
Otherwise I would love to trade someone for one!
Cheers,
