I have coverage in the parking area up through the middle of the park. I regain signal at the top side of the park.
You should be fine in the lot. |
We'll see. In my basement, my wife's phone gets full signal strength, and I get barely anything at all. We use the same network, and I've concluded via experimentation with other phones that my antenna just plain sucks.
Anyway, I'll start playing with sharing my net connection and we shall see what is available. Bring your laptops, palms, tablets, and whatnot. You might be able to show them off. _________________

Yes. The road is actually much longer than it appears on the maps and leads right into the parking lot. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

That is a good idea because you don't want to see a crazy ajayhawkfan in a MN event! |

If one of you weirdo Magellan users wants to e-mail me with any information I might need to load waypoints onto those inferior units, please do so.
I have a SD card reader but I don't know what else they take. Any help would be appreciated. They'll already be 40 feet off from everyone else, we don't want them wasting their time hand entering the coords too, do we? _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Stupid looking like rain...we'll see if it's raining when I wake up because I don't think I'll ride the bike down in the rain, and yes that does mean i'm a wuss
Just trying to decide if I'm just really hanging out or doing the full "run"...we'll see how I feel in the morning.

It's only looking like rain early in the morning. After 7AM it's going to be clearing out.

| I *think* I can show up tomorrow. However, I have to renew my driver's license tomorrow morning, so I probably won't make it in time for the timed caching deal (just as well, I'm not really feeling competitive). But hopefully I can make it before lunch (yeah I'll bring my own) and still have time to get some caching and visiting in. |

I just wanted to say thanks again to Silent Bob, Cooky and the rest of the folks who hid caches and donated prizes. I really enjoyed being able to find some caches, meet some new people and catch up with old friends. All without being interrupted by the latest minor crisis _________________ WindChill - www.IowaGeocachers.Org |

| I had a wonderful time at your event this weekend. It was great. The park was great and the caches were placed in a way to get a good feeling of all the park had to offer. Silent Bob and Cooky thank you for making me feel so much at home. The brats were great. I don't know what you did to them but there were better then any my in-laws ever tried to force feed me. I hope sometime I am up there and can join a wed evening cache hunt. |

Hey, just wanted to thank the organizers again for their hard work in setting up the event! I know the kiddie caches are usually an afterthought, but I can tell you they meant the world to my kids! I found a few photos that had been stuck in my camera since the event, and uploaded them to the page - here's evidence of our baby raiding the cache and not trading fair. She was moving pretty fast and made a run for it with her hands full of swag - she got pretty far before we lightened her load so others might find some stuff as well. Thanks again, and hope to see y'all again soon!

Rachael checks out the prizes. Compare the cache contents to the next photo...
And here's the next shot, of her making a run for it!
