I am looking for some other cachers near Moorhead. Seems like everyone is from the Iron Range or Duluth in this sport. Thanks!! _________________ Summer is too short |

A few of us are from the Twin Cities as well.
Welcome to caching! I'm not personally aware of any cachers up in the Moorhead area. You might try looking at the pages for caches in the area and detrmine who the active folks are and then drop them a line. Also, MnGCA is planning on having one of their Breakfast Buddies events in Moorhead next spring. That will be a good chance to meet a bunch of fellow cachers. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Thanks for the information-I will search the pages and I hope there is a meeting up here-we need more caches. I have to drive over 30 miles now and pretty soon it will be over 50 miles.
I am looking forward to going down to the cities in early March on Business so I can get more caches! _________________ Summer is too short |

My zip is 56560. I live in south Moorhead. I do have 2 active caches (4other ones in Moorhead plus 2 other ones less than 20 miles away)and there are plenty in Fargo to justify a road trip. _________________ Summer is too short |

I believe KB was thinking more along the lines of an area he could hide more caches.
I too, have exhausted all caches within about a 50 mile radius of me, other than the ones that I have hid. When I go now I almost have to pick an area and find everything in that area while I am there. I think my problem is I have soo many hid close to home it doesn't leave many places for others to hide them around here.[/quote] _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

There is a need to place caches in Clara City, Maynard and Sacred Heart parks. I once lived in that area. _________________ Summer is too short |

I realize it's still a drive from Moorhead, but I have four Caches hidden in and just north of Pelicam Rapids. Also Detroit Lakes has opened up their parks to Geocaching so look for some hides there in the near future.

I'll have to see what I can do about that situation. I don't get to Maynard all that often but the other two I might be tempted to find a suitable place to hide 1 or 2. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!
