, resurfaced today after being missing for over a year.....cool! Can be found in Hidden Falls North.

My Pauly Loon TB finally resurfaced after disappearing from a cache in Wisconsin nearly two years ago--I don't know how long it'll stay active, though--it's going to this event in Florida, along with 494 other Travel Bugs. The last time one of my bugs, Rabid Rabbit, went to an event, someone had taken it from a cache here and took it to Missouri, even though my cache page specifically said it was supposed to stay in Ramsey County, MN, and it prompty got lost in the shuffle of bugs at the event, never to be seen again.

Some people steal them but mostly it seems the TBs become victims of unknowledegable cachers.(IMO)

Its probably impractical, but ideally when someone registers with Groundspeak, they should receive an email back with specific instructions for logging out a TB and the estimated time for appropriate replacement.

I have encountered many cachers that don't realize that logging out a TB is a 2 step process, regular log and TB log. They just regular log
"took TB'' and thats the end for them. They are more than happy to do step 2 if they just knew about it.
