Hello Everyone,
Well it looks like I might of made a small mistake. A fellow cacher just picked up a TB I had dropped off a couple of weeks ago. Problem is it was picked up at a different cache then the one I thought I had placed it in. I had done several caches that day. At home I logged in my finds and mistakenly logged the TB into the wrong cache.
Is there anything I should/can do

No if it is found and logged by another it's moving on. No problem. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

I'd say it kinda depends...
was there significant milage involved (aka did you go from the cities to duluth and accidentally drop bug in Cities cache instead of duluth)? If that's the case and you're looking to make sure it gets the correct mileage, you can email the person who currently has it and see if you can "grab" it from them and then place it in the correct cache via note. Then, as long as the current posessor of the TB has found that cache, they can easily "retrieve" it from the cache.
However, if it's basically a choice between 3-4 caches in the same area (aka Posen *grin*), then it probably doesn't matter that much for the bug owner.
Make sense?

What other cache's would you do so many in a row you'd forget which one you dropped the bug in

That's either a great slam or a great compliment...I'm sure you can explain it to me at the Feb 25th Breakfast Buddies event! |
