Hi All - I've gotten clearance from the board to put together a poker run like the one I found here:

CINCO Poker Run

My idea is to have 7 caches that will not be loggable, and the only thing in the caches will be envelopes with cards. Dinner afterwards, haven't figured out where yet, and prizes for best poker hand, worst poker hand, door prizes, etc. Prizes will include MNGCA stuff. I'm looking at Saturday, April 8th. I'm posting to see what kind of interest is out there for this event. I'm gonna put it on, but I'd like to get an idea of how many of you are interested so I can figure out how big of a place we'll need for dinner. I'd sure appreciate if you'd email, post, PM, or otherwise let me know if you'd interested in attending. Thanks!

Argh, sounds like GREAT fun but I'll have to catch the next one - Saturday, April 8th is the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey championship in Milwaukee, so I'll be in lovely Wisconsin watching the Frozen Four. We've been traveling to the Frozen Four every year since 1989, and hopefully this year the Gophers will make the trip too! Smile
