Sorry for being ignorant, but I don't know how to link caches or websites when sending emails. Does anyone have any info on where a person could go to find out how to do this My knowledge is limited when it comes to computer operation and I normally end up just putting the cache or the site on the email without being able to make it "linkable".
Any help would be much appreciated. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

If you are talking about emails (not the forums), then usually most email clients will know that it is a link if you start it with http:// .
For example, http://www.mngca.org instead of www.mngca.org
Many nowadays will recognize www.mngca.org as a link as well, but if you always start it with http:// then you're safe.
Another thing I learned a while ago is that if you have a long link that ends up on two lines, putting < and > around the link will help keep it together so the person can just click on it. For example, <http://www.mngca.org>.
If you're talking about doing this on the forums (here), then move your cursor over the underlined URL on the top-right of the page when you are creating a post and it will give you an example of how to make a clickable link. |
