I like that. It kinda says, ""Don't panic, if you see a gangof teckies with headlights, running loudly into the woods at night. You only have to call the cops if it's not Wednessday."

Just picked up the paper -- looks good. I was hoping they would use the group shot instead but I suppose it would be harder to use a pic with that many people in it that was taken at night.
Anyone is welcome to join us for WeekNIGHT Caching outings. You might not get your picture or name in the paper but you will have a blast
Happy cachin'! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

One thing that I see is missing from the article is any mention of the post-caching activities. Probably for the best as we wouldn't want too big of a crowd as it would slow down the drink orders.
Nice job everyone, you represented geocaching in a very positive light. Hopefully we can join you again real soon. |

I feel like Clark Kent. All my co-workers are going to see my name in the paper but nobody will know it's me! _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Very good article. Good to see the reporter got imbedded enough to know what they were talking about. Great photos as well.

Congrats again and maybe the little one can get out there too! Do they serve warm milk at the "after-activities"? Just ask Moe! _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I felt really silly after I had to have someone else point out I'm quoted in the article...didn't see that my first glance through
I'm just amused that I'm one of the blurs without a headlamp in the picture on the website
And as for:
| Quote: |
But the following quote is somewhat sad if it is true:
"Said Bill Roehl: "My entire friendship base is somehow related to caching."" |
I also have been working out at the Rennisance Festival, so prior to Geocaching all of my friends somehow related to the Renfest, so I see no real problem in the quote. In reality, if they're friends of mine, they have already heard of or wandered along geocaching with me, so even older friends are now somehow related to geocaching

OFF TOPIC!
It's kinda fun to look at the time stamps on the logs.
Who checks their computer before leaving for work, and who sits at their desk and checks in with MNGCA before looking at the days work.

I don't see any mention of foul winds blowing that night SB, so you must have been on your best behavior! I notice you took the spotlight on the pic, though, once again advancing your personal agenda and power grab...heh, nice job guys, sorry I missed last week. _________________ I feel the need! I can already see myself getting addicted. I hope my children like going on treasure hunts. I plan on getting out on some Wed night with the group. I know Jambro and he has said it is a great time (even though he uses a Magellan and gets lost alot ) |
