Hey Gang!
If you attended MOGA last May then you don't want to miss the MOGA reunion set for Saturday July 30-31st. This event will be hosted at Hooligan's Cabin in the great North Woods. Keep in mind this is a rustic cabin ( i.e. no running water, or internet connection. Also very limited cell service, but hey we have lights!) See below for the schedule of events and what to bring. If you are attending please be sure to e-mail me so I can get you directions.
MNGCA MOGA Reunion Schedule of Events and Menu!
Saturday July 30th.
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Arrive at Hooligan's cabin.
12 noon. Depart for an afternoon of Geocaching in the area. (Bag lunch on your own.)

Sunday July 31st.
8 a.m. Simple Breakfast Buffet served.
9 a.m. More Geocaching or Water sports
12 noon. Lunch of "Cabin Burgers" served with most of the fixings.
What to Bring.
~Sleeping Bag and pillow.
~Your favorite Beverage.
~Some snacks to share.
~Some may need to bring tents depending on turn out.

I couldn't help but wonder what MOGA stands for. If it is obvious, I feel foolish. |
Normally I don't reply to sock puppets, but:

edit: this footnote just explains that this was a reply to someone called 'sock puppet' who didn't have a real account and that post has been removed. _________________ ...formerly 'dachebo'.

Well I should be back from Europe by then. I guess the only things that might keep me away will be my wife (which I doubt would stop me) and work. Lets see if I can catch up on being gone for two weeks. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Well I have to know where I going so I know how to get there. I'll probably leave early Friday morning. Do some caching on while heading up North. Don't know if I'll even make it to the cabin by Friday night as I don't know if the big H will be there or not. His schedule starts on Saturday. But I'll definately be there on time for the start. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Okay MOGA Pals,
Here we go. Final preparations are being made for the big weekend. Coordinates are being e-mailed to those who will be in attendance, which according to my list are:
Silent Bob
Moe the Sleeze
Artic Airborne
Towlebooth
Oneied Cooky
Gald you guys are all going to make it! Should be a blast. Remember to bring a sleeping bags, pillows and all your personal stuff. Food will be provided Saturday night, Sunday morning, and a special Sunday send off meal around noon or 1. If you won't be there for all meals, please let me know. The rest of the time you are on your own...and beverages are on your own.
Right now we should have sleeping surfaces; beds, couches, cots for all in attendance. However, if you want to bring a tent so you don't have to listen to SB snore that is fine...plenty of room to set one up. In response to Arctic...no I don't have a plan or a list for geocaching. We can cache all together or split off into groups and go in different directions. Going as far as Grand Rapids to the West and Hibbing to the East...there should be plenty of geocaches to find in the area.
e-mail any questions and I'll be sending you the coordinates.

I can't believe that you don't have a cache somewhere on the lake
Nearest cache to the cabin 3.14 miles.

Small lake and not having a cache there, keeps the rif raf away.
I have done the Crooked lake cache, and it is a quick one. One most of you will be able to hit easily this weekend.
See you all this weekend. WOOT!
