| If my website now caters to Minnesota Geocachers, is this the place I would display it with the rest of the geocaching websites? |
Yes, this is where it should be displayed if it is now a "geocaching" website. |
Since there are no other geocaching forums (that I know of) in Minnesota, it seemed only fair to give cachers an option to choose. With this in mind, I have completely redeveloped my forums to cater to Minnesota Geocachers! If you are running into trouble or frustration here on the MnGCA Forums, I want to offer this link to my forums and website:
http://forums.swissperpetual.com
www.swissperpetual.com
I am looking for forum moderators at this time to help me out. I will be working with my existing website to customize it towards the needs of the geocacher. I am looking for suggestions from anyone. On my forums, your thoughts will be valued. Together we can create a functional site and enjoyable forums.

jaywc7 -
I mean no offense here at all, but I think after the third posting those people who have been looking for something like this have gotten the message.
The webmaster asked you (and has asked others the same thing in the past) not to add links to your personal site in your signature and at the same time he offered you a link to the main page's links section but you refused that offer.
Saying that this is the only place you are allowed to post it is thus a bit misleading as you were offered a place in the links section but refused the offer. |

PTO needs to get out caching more.
re: Swiss Perpetual forum
It's been years since I placed a cookie tin cache in a white Walmart bag. |

Blah-
He also posted the other day that he hasnt hidden cookie tin caches in plastic bags in years- yet here he mentions the cookie tins, but not the bags-
Garbage pail caches are Exactly that- Garbage- leaky crap-
cookie tins suck, IMO-
I'd actually be glad if he stopped - some of the rest of us could hide some quality caches in some areas that way-

Probably not far behind Kitch - 10:44 or so after stopping nearby. Had quite a shocking experience at this cache...
Long story short, I have emailed King Boreas to confer.
Cache is A-OK, rehidden just as I found it+.
changed even and also left WG $1 I got at gas station nearby, SL, updated. Traveled bugs thru on my visit.

Well - geocaching is getting to the point, that unless you have a very remote place in mind, there's probably already a cache there. Any time I think of a place and come to find it's available, I think of how quickly I should act to ensure a KB Dumpster doesn't show up. Unfortunately I'm a procrastinator. One example is the Penisula Point Park in Anoka. I had a cache there that was too close and not approved. Before I really had time to fix it, mt man archived it, and another cache sprung up there. Cache density is like a desert : In the absence of life, one can truly appreciate a lone remote desert flower blooming among thousands of square miles of dirt and rock. If there was thousands of flowers, that one would just be lost in the masses. ::josh envisions the clover field from dr. seuss' story horton hears a who:: That is why, when I am back in MN, I will return to cache placement. My new cache however will be unique, distant, remote, hard and - there won't be a sequel series to my original series based on someone elses series which broke some record and has to be numbered to keep it straight (like KB caches)...

I knew PTO is not a fan of KB. Both locally, and nationally.
While I agree the Garbage pail caches were junk, KB has some great ones out there too! Not many, but a few. I especially like the road trips outside of the metro. |

It'll take me a day or two to search my 32,000+ geocaching e-mail database. Do you want to talk about the Scribe cache (link above)? Just giving you an opportunity to explain yourself. |

7 of your 36 finds were mine. I have links to the logs. Not a single one of your logs mention anything negative, nor do they mention any problem with the cache. Most mention fun, good time, etc. If you edit, that nasty little note with the date will appear.
So, I ask you: Which would you classify as "dumpster" |

It seems to me that if one was going to publicly criticize someone else's caches, one would make sure their own caches were something to brag about. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."
