I heard a story on Geocaching this morning on MPR. Here is a link
to the story in streaming audio. For some reason the heading is "Geo-Poaching." Does this reflect some sort of editorial bias on the part of NPR?? |

| I heard the same news story too while sitting in my car going to work. The moment the guy started talking about GPS, I thought to myself, "I bet they're gonna talk about geocaching". And I was right. It was cool to hear Jeremy Irish talk. About the poaching bit, I thought that the article put forward both the pros and cons about the sport. They gave an example about someone burying a cache next to a burial site or something of that nature. Thanks for mentioning it on the forum. |

| I just checked it out and they changed the page to say "Geo-Caching" now. I'm sure it was just an honest mistake by some web admin who didn't really know what the piece was about and thought he heard someone say the word "poaching." Who knows? |
