http://www.keyhole.com/
Looks like some cool stuff. Nice thing is a free 7 day trial period of use.
After that...not too much for a years worth of service. |

Hey,
just found out today about www.earth.google.com
I noticed info about keyhole....if you use Kitch's link for keyhole...it goes directly to earth.google.com
There is a free download from the site.....(you need a fast connection like broadband and a fairly current pc) We installed it on our work computer and played around with it some today.....It is AWESOME!!!
You can zoom in from a satellite view close enough to get very good detail...you can tilt the view and even follow roads, etc. and it displays the lat and long coords also....
I still am on dinosaur dial up at home so it doesn't work here....but for those of you that meet the requirements should check it out.
You can also go to it from google.com.....click on the link that says MORE... earth.google will come up on the list.

Wonder why the great state of MO has the most high resolution coverage in the US. It looks like every portion of the state sans one quad is covered.

I would but then I would have to "you fill in the blank due to board rules"!
And I'm not ex-military. I am and always will be military. I'm just retired from active duty. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Heck, I'd more question why the one quad isn't covered......
