Has anyone noticed anything?
My body background tags get deleted. I HAVE to use the dummy box.
Arrangement of text gets shifted around.
Tags get closed. What's the purpose of < / p > ?? I've NEVER used that.
If this is a new option, can I turn it off? |

| I think it's mandatory. I haven't checked yet, but it probably messes up your text upon submittal too (takes extra returns, spaces, formatting out). |

Jod has started using some tool to "clean up" the html in new (and edited) cache listings. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

There's no reason to use <p> just use <br>. I'm just annoyed that my HTML has random line breaks all over the place. I prefer to keep my cache page HTML code clean and readable. The changes his HTML-tidy crap makes are awful. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

| Body background tags are getting stripped out, but there is a place on the cache edit page (right above the coordinates) to put in a URL to be used as a background image. |

| I wonder if this includes travelbug pages. I've got some backgrounds in those that could be effected if I update them, and I'm not sure if there's a spot like the cache page where you can select a background image. |

The announcement on GC.COM indicates that they just started applying HTML-Tidy to cache pages after having tested it out for awhile with Profile pages. TB pages may well get phased in later but so far nothing's being said about that. |

HTML Tidy is in use. No sound links are permitted. If you have one....Do not edit the cache page or it will get lost.
No more large fonts running over the entire cache page on a PDA with sloppy HTML is a good thing, though.
Yeah...I know...some do not like sound, but there are some great puzzle caches out there that the coordinates are in the sound. |
