geocaching.com is having a fit! I was logged in as
northtrekker. When I did a cache search, I turned
into Bob&Elliecat. I wonder who they are. If I am
them, I wonder who is me? If that happens often it
could really be a problematic cluster situation!
So it goes!

Cleaning out my Boreas 1000 event caches, I found The Little Red Level which I had forgotten to log. So I go to log the darn thing today and it won't display my logs. Plural because I tried 3 times to get the log entry to display on the bug page, I even changed it to today's date thinking that might be the issue. The logs show up on my account page as being made, and I can navigate to them, just can't see them on the bug page.

They don't show up immediately anymore (like for the last year). Just give it time. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I've noticed that bug logs never show up on the bug page right away. Sometimes it can take up to a minute for them to show or update if you edit it. So considering the problems that geocaching.com was having yesterday, it doesn't surprise me.
What's really weird is that I can see the photo you took in the gallery and get to your log from there:

I'd just delete the log and add it again? _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Guess I never really paid attention to the lag before. Now I have to go in and delete the extra log entries. CRAP _________________ When Re-Inventing the Wheel ... Think Rounder |

I'm starting to get used to the old "Server Error in '/' Application" tossed at me every few days giving some explaination of why the site can't do whatever it is that I am trying to do.
I give it an hour and then all is well (usually) but today I got a new one ---
I was uploading some images to my coin collection and kept gettting this over and over.
"System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type System. OutOfMemoryException was thrown."
Everything else worked --- logging and such, but no loading up images.
Hmmmm -- this may be a sign that it is time for me to stop collecting coins, eh? |

Images are stored on their own separate server. That explains why you were having problems uploading images but everything else seemed to work. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Well then... "out of memory" on the image server is going to be a pretty bad deal for them.... I guess we should be expecting another upgrade? or a new restriction on image size or something? |

It's not necessarily out of HD space. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I guess we're over due. It's been more than a month since the post before yours. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Two nights in a row I have had to post the wap way. I want to thank whoever posted that information because I didn't know about it and it better than nothing. I did have to delete a double found it log-I must have done something wrong. _________________ Summer is too short |
