I thought this would be happening at the same time as our event.

The biggest junior bowling scholarship tournament in the region is on Sunday. The best junior bowlers will be competing for thousands of dollars in scholarships.

On Saturday afternoon, an optional (though just as competitive) tournament is happening at 5:00 pm. If you want to see some great bowlers, come to the event early. I'll be there.

If you were there, you had a good (great?) time. If you weren't there, blame Kitch.

Minor hassles by an unenlightened manager, but we worked around it. The best part? The younger attendees who mixed very well with the group, and seemed to have some fun. Especially after the lights went out ! Heh

Thanks to the new cachers who came to check us out. If we scared any of them, at least they didn't leave immediately. One of the highlights came late in the evening, partly instigated by GW, when Dylan was bowling with his dad.

Nice to meet the C.A.G. family. After a long day at another event, they made the effort to be a part of ours. Thanks Mike. I appreciate that.

BTW, the event was my fifth Get Sauced Event, my 10th event hosted, and my 700th cache. Great times, thanks everybody.

Congrats on the 700. I was hoping to attend this to meet everyone - even though my bowling is laughable. However, a plumbing emergency at my house changed the weekend plans.

I was there, and everybody agreed that I suck at bowling, but I still bowled anyway.

To be fair, we were bowling on sport conditions, which knocks 40-50 pins off an average person's score. So I figure I really bowled 160-170. Smile
