I just got an email about my earthcache at Interstate Park- here is part of it that concerns your question:
"The virtual/earthcaching policy for parks is with our Division Management Team now with comments due back by 6/10. Barring any major concerns (and we don't antiicipate any) we should have things set up shortly after. You'd then need to coordinate with the manager for his approval and you'd be good to go. Why don't you plan to check in with me toward the latter part of June and hopefully can give you the go-ahead." _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |

The Bird Dog used to take UMD geology field trips to this spot and then he used to take his 8th grade earth science classes there on field trips until he switched to HS chemistry, etc.- _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |

I suggest setting up an event and seeing how many people sign up so you know how many permits are needed. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Only one permit is required:
Ten people or less is $10.00
More than ten people is $25.00 |

Ok, I stand corrected. You could find out how many are interested and then see if you would need to 10 or 25 _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

| good idea, then I'd have an event listing under my belt anyways (course I'm still planning on that geocaching software event, eventually... when I find a place that can host it). |
