Don't feel bad, don't seem like I have a whole lot of friends over here in Western MN either.
We are looking at planning a fall event out this way. Maybe that will get more interested in the MNGCA out here.
Lots of caches out here (mostly placed by me) that sometimes go all winter w/o a find. Hardly anyone caches in the winter out this way.
We'll just have to come up with a couple of topics to bring to this area of the forum. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

I need to start checking out these forums more.
I spend to much time on the groundspeak (gc.com) forums.

| I cache almost year round. Tend to slow down around July and August because of the heat and the tree cover. Normally cover alot of the southern part of MN and the upper IA areas. |

Well, I know I should be looking here more often. Until a few weeks back I had not visited mngca.org in about a year. But I do remember posting some time ago about getting a bunch of people together and no one replied back. Do we know how many cachers are in the southern side of minnesota?

Go get'em KB. I spent about three months working on a project down on Hwy 56 in the quaint town of Adam's. Worked Mon - Sat, from Mid October to the end of December, only wished that I knew about this Geocache stuff then, would have given me something to do in the very few spare moments of time I had. _________________ round n' round we go! |

I follow the San Diego Thread on gc.com, it's great. You get e-mail updates on new posts etc. However, I do like the format of this forum...you don't have 200 messages giving congrats to someone who reached 500 find. |

You know anything about the city park that offers free camping? Ever been there? I'm thinking about a 2-3 day trip. |

Hey KB, at least my lights are on...
Thought the convoy was headed the other direction pretty quick? You guys have a great trip in that direction. Looking forward to looking southbound soon. Later _________________ round n' round we go! |

::: yawn :::
34 hours, 350 miles, 1 cache find, 2 aborted attempts, 26 caches placed, 2 retrieved and archived, a couple dozen photos, got wet and drip-dried 5 times, time to become semi-human again. |

WOW! get some rest, and guess I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a pile of new caches to come on line soon. Did you get to the camp ground in Adams? Was it nice? See the windmill farm down that way? Kind of interesting, if you get close enough they sound pretty cool too when the turbines are spinning. _________________ round n' round we go! |
