| A temporary cache was added to the event page. Six nearby "subscriber-only" caches have been converted. |

BTW,
There's no truth to the rumor that a beer will get you a hint for a "nearly-unfindable" Psychedelia cache. |

What a beautiful day for caching! I grabbed two near work over lunch as a warm up for tonight. Hopefully I'll break my personal best of 4 caches in a day!. I finally got my PDA loaded up with caches and the GPS loaded up with waypoints. Sure makes for easier spontaneous caching. |

I sure enjoyed my first MNGCA event last night. I think I met about half of you that were there. Hopefully I'll meet the rest of you at some future event. When I got in my car, just past midnight, I checked my GPS and noticed that Tub of Silver was just a few hundred feet away, so had to grab that one before I hit the road. Then I saw that Creepo Park was the next closest one and drove over there. WHen I saw that neighborhood I thought better of being a suspicious person and went home. Thanks for the great time!
So where do I log that temporary cache?
Oh, and I DID break my daily record! I got 12 yesterday (13 if I can count Tub of Silver). |

If you want the temporary event cache to count towards your find totals just log the event's cache page again and list that you are logging the temporary cache. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

For clarification, 100% credit for this event goes to King Boreas, not the MnGCA.
The MnGCA strongly promotes individuals to host their own events such as the recent meeting in Duluth (Pear Head), the recent CITO event (towlebooth), the upcoming geo-dog event (TwentySeven), and the Get Sauced events and more.
The MnGCA officially hosts events such as the Breakfast Buddies events, the upcoming general meeting, and the upcoming Lester Park Bash in Duluth for instance.
The MnGCA also provide a means of helping people spread the word about their events by posting them on the front page of this site, and allowing sticky threads in the Events forum.
So the point is this: we want you to feel just as welcome as anyone else to hold a geocaching event if you choose, and you don't have to go through the channels of the MnGCA.
Although it would be might be nice for the MnGCA to get credited for all events in Minnesota that people like, it's King Boreas that gets 100% credit for this one.
Cheers,

And 100% of the blame goes to Kitch. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

wow!!!
Silent Bob not drinking beer at a "get sauced event??" I'd thought I'd never see the day...
well...the rest of the "get saucers" had to make up for that.....One of them didn't get out of bed until 1pm.....(that's success if in my book!!!)
nice job KB!!!!
oh..you can blame me for that...I think I bought a pitcher of beer and bailed... |
