I'm going to try to make this, sounds like a fun time. In the past, how long have these things gone on?
I see the last cache listed is 7 Up Spot by The Litter. Ironically I met their current drummer, Joe Scanlan, last Saturday. I don't know how often they actually play anymore but I guess they had a reunion gig of sorts a few months ago and a couple of my friends played guitar & bass for them. |

Until they kick us out, or it's closing time, whichever comes first.
I spoke to Dean last Saturday, warning him (I mean informing him), about the event. I guess they require a minimum of 15 for cosmic bowling, which I don't think is a problem. He said "I think we can bend a few rules." So we'll get the best rate, per game or per hour, however it works out. |

Oh, so the bowling is AFTER the caching? I thought the deal was you eat, drink & bowl first, then try to find the caches. I imagine the success rate is higher this way, as well as keeping the number of injuries down.
So with an 8pm start of the weeknight caching, and a 9:30pm start of bowling, that leaves 90 minutes (i'm real good at math) for caching. Can 16 caches be found that quick or is that not the goal?
Sorry for seeming like a nitwit, but I AM a nitwit, as well as a newbie.

| Yes, KB has it backwards. But it is his event. My events the caching happens when people need to sober up. |

I need to edit the list. At least one of those is 70 miles away. |

Crud, guess finishing the series before the event may be a bit harder than I thought. |

The bowling is optional. No one should stay away because they don't want to bowl. Actually the eating is optional too. Drinking is mandatory . |

Pre-event caching is optional. Some don't have enough time prior. Some have already found all the caches.
So the 8:00 time is meaningless. If you wanna hook up with somebody, post a note. There may be some people starting earlier. And Flaherty's would be happy to accomodate you before 9:30 That's the time the cosmic bowling starts. |

I'll be going straight to the event and hanging out. I'll probably get in a game or two of Golden Tee prior. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I'll be there and plan on pre-event caching if anyone else wants to hook up. I'm going to leave right after work from Edina so it might take a couple hours to get up there. I've never been up in that neck of the woods so you'll have to tell me where to meet.
Not sure how long I'll stay bowling, I have to get the little urchins ready for school the next morning. I'll go for at least one game, maybe two.
