Has anyone heard any updates from the State park system. I think it was back in the spring of last year that they were going to a set of rules together for being able to place caches in state parks. Have not heard anything in quite a while about this.
Has anyone been in contact with the state park system lately about where they are at, or how long it will be before they get there policies together.
Just think of all of the revenue they are loosing from the geocaching community. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

The MnGCA Board and Paklid have been in contact recently with the MN DNR. Nothing new to report yet, though.

Thanks Aaron. I just thought there would have been some type of policy by now. I have been in contact with my local state park and the only response I've gotten is that they are waiting on higher up to finalize the regulations. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

For this board, elected October 27, 2004, it's been about 4 and a half months. While I admit it hasn't been a high priority initially, we're now working to have more serious dialogue with the DNR. We are also not positioned to put any serious pressure on them. They seem sincerely interested in geocaching and we will work with them and help them in any way possible to establish their geocaching policies. Our goal is to be the primary represenatives of geocaching in the state.
We will post with any developments.
