I know that the "official" CITO day is April 16th..(should be every time we cache).... I "scouted" out the surrounding area of the Cambridge City Park today after finally adopting a cache that has been out of commission for awhile. I was "blown away" by the amount of trash, especially the amount that was very near where the cache was/ is. I am reactivating this cache soon but to be quite honest, I am embarrassed to think that people will see all that @*$! left behind in what normally is a nice park!
There really isn't very many cachers in my area...but if anyone is looking for an area to CITO....I would welcome any help I could get. I will spend some time there before April 16th ....but the job would go much quicker with company.
Thanks!

| Hey Shawn, I've been looking for a reason to come check out your caches up there, I may be interested. Timing may be a problem as my mom is coming in that day from California. I'll let you know as we get a little closer...Jim |

Wow! Thanks guys for offering to help! I know how crazy everyones weekends are this time of the year (mine included) so I was thinking maybe spending a couple hours after work on a weeknight.....I was there placing some new caches last night..(in the dark) took 1 full garbage bag out with me....it's already looking somewhat better. but could use more cleanup
this Wednesday is not good for me but I could make almost any other weeknight work.
Let me know what you think might work..... Hopefully..if approved...you will have 3 more caches that weren't there previously to nab while your in the area
Thanks!!!

Can't commit to this week as I'm on call at work until Monday, would absolutely be open to anytime next week from Tuesday on. Just give me at least a day or so to run it by management here at home (that would be
mrs j, I'm just labor). |

After normal work hours is OK.
Not tonight, but pick any other this week and I'll find a way to manage.

How bout a weeknight next week...I could do either Tuesday the 12th or Friday the 15th starting anywhere on or after about 4:30pm ????
If this doesn't work for everyone....I could still squeeze in Friday this week with miles58
I will supply the garbage bags and we can put the trash in the back of my truck where I can "utilize" the dumpster at work

Tuesday the 12th is not good. Friday works but I likely won't be able to leave FL until 1730 which will put me in Cambridge at 1800.
Where's the park? |

| Either day next week works for me. There is a possiblity I'll be released from work Friday, I'll find out today or tomorrow. Sorry to be so wishy-washy, but that's the nature of my job. |

Wishy-washy heavy equipment operator. That's comforting! _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."

Are you talking about Friday the 15th? or thinking of running with this Friday with hopes that schedule will work out for jambro??
I'm OK with either Friday so I will let you make the call
No pressure
The Cambridge Park is located very near GCHH99...parking is about N45 34.300 W093 14.100
Basically, from downtown Cambridge (intersection of 65 & 95) Go West on 95 to edge of town...you will want to "jog over" 1 block South (try at the stoplight which is Dellwood) the park entrance is on the left just a couple blocks down.
If you accidentally forget to jog over a block and cross the Rum River Bridge just turn left at your fist road..(goes to the Community College)...Hang a left on the street accross from the entrance of the community college and you will run in to the park with it's entrance on your right.
Once my last 2 hides are approved...there will be 4 caches within a 2 mile radius of the park |

Well, I do work for the red tails! Shawn, I'm on my way out the door on a trip, back Sunday, so I won't be able to help Friday. Next week anytime, I'll check back here when I return. See ya... |

Friday the 8th is probably best for me. Let's go for it then and if jim can make it next Friday it might be possible I can get free then too.
Best bet for me is to take 'em when I can since I can lose control of my schedule pretty easily. |
