If by chance some old guy who has to get up real early in the morning was considering joining this expedition...

and...

If you guys are meeting at a bar at 8:00...

What time would you be heading out to hunt the cache?

Um.... I thought we were going to meet by the trail head by the cache. Do the cache, then go to Major's. SB, did you get the parking cords?

Yeah: N44 49.185 W093 23.610 -- This is a dead end street that probably won't appreciate 100 cars parked at it. I know there is a Walgreens on the other side of 169 that we could shuttle to/from if there were too many people.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing re quite a few cars storming a residential street. I vote for the nearby Walgreens for the meeting place.

I'm too lazy to figure out coordinates via the aerial photos (especially when I don't think they accurately reflect the area now). Here's the URL to the Yahoo maps for the Walgreen's location.

That works... I have added a poll to this thread so that we can get a rough idea of how many people will be attending.

I solved the puzzle right after the cache was first listed, but I still haven't visited it yet-- it's on my watch list. Wish I could join you all tonight, but I have "mom's taxi" duty again. Have fun!

Kitch, you disappoint me! *I* even almost wimped out on the 3-star terrain rating thing (I'm old, fat, and tired/traveling!), and still went ahead with it and am planning to be there. Wink Now I may bail by 10PM or earlier, but I'm still making my appearance.

But seriously, if you still can't make it after all this peer-pressure/prodding, I'm sorry I'll miss you this time around, bud. Crying or Very sad

Tsk, tsk. You know that saying, "A failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on our part"? Well, I'm sure there's a variation of that saying regarding your failure to have any willpower.... Laughing Laughing Very Happy Very Happy
