I'm a bit late catching up on the forums... but it's been summed up quite well already. It was a great trip. I can't wait to go next year. Hopefully next year I'll be able to commit to more time off so I can do more caching on the way down and way up. Again, great trip.

All those who have attended the event... Please be aware that one deer tick has been located on someone and I have just located a small tick larva and am unable to determine what type of tick it is.
I have saved the tick and am going to the Dr. tomorrow.
Check yourselves again as they may have moved from your camping gear to you. This one was located in a very difficult to locate spot (under my belt/waistband). While it didn't seem to have been there long I cannot be sure.

I didn't even GO to the event and I think I feel them crawling around on me..
I travel to Oklahoma for two weeks of caching fun in a little while. Supposedly the tick population down there is off to a great start this year. People giving up on caches because of the ticks. I did that on one cache there - I couldn't pull them off fast enough, and I nearly found myself in the fetal position in the woods yanking off ticks.
Yuck. |

They said that they didn't mind if people purchased one DVD and made copies. I'm up for that _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I'm up for sharing the costs. Anyone got an idea of what it will cost to burn copies of the DVD? _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

I can usually pick up a box of 10 DVDs at a retail store (like Target) for $10 to $15. It would basically be $2/person for the DVD once we got it ($1 for the blank and $1 for the original).
If we did it this way it would lighten the load of the MOGA people who have to burn the copies for 100+ people. We only need ~10.
I have a couple blanks already at home (~5 I think) so I could donate those in. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
