While out caching with the WeekNIGHT crew last night I received an email from dyl1231:

Quote:
hello uh.... my dad wanted people to know in the geocachingworld that he has
had a minor stroke and won't be caching for a while please contact other
members about my dads health thanks

~dyl1231~

Please keep rickrich in your thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery. Last night we dedicated our cache find to him and raised a toast in his honor. We knew he'd appreciate that Smile

Crying or Very sad

Get well soon Rick. Trying for FTFs won't be nearly as fun without you in competition!

from eagleyes and bird dog. I do know from recent experiences with rellies and friends and they can do marvelous recovery procedures for people who have had strokes. Stick with your therapy routine -we are pulling for you.

I'll have rickrich and family in my thoughts and prayers as well. There's been two strokes in my family and I know how those can be. Since I wasn't with the nightcaching crew, I'll dedicate my next FTF for rickrich Smile

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. If you aren't out there for first finds, I assume many caches will remain unfound!

rickrich you are a pillar of the local Geocaching community. Your wisdom, jokes, caches and rickrichisms (Mojo) have become an important part of our little world. You will be missed during your hiatis. Here's to a big get well from me and the Geo-wife! Take care of your dad dyl1231, he is a great guy!

The news last night was a shock to say the least. As SB mention, we raised our glasses in your honor. Rick, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything that we can do for you, PLEASE, don't hesitate to give us a holler!
