I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade, but ...
small, metal engraved plates to nail on the back of trees
HUH ??
Virtual Caches, and he thinks the educational benefits are many
Has anyone tried to post a virtual cache lately ? In case you haven't noticed, it's virtually impossible to get one approved.
I sent a recent e-mail to 4 board members. I've been trying to do some different things lately, but I give up. Plain, boring Park 'n Log caches breeze through the hierarchy in a couple hours. The next series will be "Don't Bother" When you see these, you won't find an exciting new park, or a clever hide, or a mystery. It'll be nothing special. |

I brought up that exact point at the meeting.
Paul had been working with John to get a multi-stage cache into Tamarak in conjunction with a Scout project he is doing. I am pretty sure that is what he was referring to with the small metal plates. |

Sometimes I wonder if the approval process is any better at the "other" geocaching site, www.navicache.com. I'm not ready to go over there yet, but the more I hear about how geocaching.com is being more and more difficult when it comes to approving caches, I might start giving it some more thought. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |
