I just received this sad news
I am Denise Rowan's daughter, Hayley. It is with sadness that I am letting you know that my mother passed away this morning peacefully and without pain after a relatively brief but difficult struggle with cancer. I'm sorry to do so on Facebook. My mom had lots of good friends and family and will be missed very much by many, including my brother Seth and my father, Donald Rowan. There will be an obituary in the Star Tribune Sunday paper. We intend to have a memorial service at a later date and the plans are yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider donating to a local cause. Some suggestions are: Minneapolis Public Schools (http://www.mpls.k12.mn.us/support_mps) PRISM (http://prismmpls.org/) The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate)

This is such sad news to hear that we have lost a wonderful piece of the geocaching "team" in the Twin Cities. Our thoughts and prayers are with Donald and their family. She was a very special lady and I will treasure my memories of her. Crying or Very sad
And if you happen to find one of the hundreds (maybe more?) of beautiful crystal sun catchers that she created and placed in caches, consider yourself blessed and a very lucky person too!

I was in the area to visit my Mom and noticed this puzzle. I noticed it was a Brooklyn51 cache. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family. I was fortunate to find a baggie with one of her beautiful geocaching crystals #2016 in the cache. I met Denise at an event and she was handing out her crystals. It was nice to take a piece of her with me after finding the cache. You'll be missed. TFTC and Puzzle
