We've kind of become indifferent about trackables. Oh, we'll pick them up and move them along, but that's about it. Don't go out of our way for them, don't dip them, just grab and move if we come across any. However...there's a challenge out there to have moved a sizable number of Jeeps from the old Jeep promotions. We've moved a whole 21. It's been ages since I've seen any, which isn't a big surprise, but in my efforts to see if I can find some, here's what I'm discovering....

A lot of people are just keeping them now. Sometimes several of them. They bring them to events to discover and so on, but don't actually release them. Seems weird to me. Has anyone run across any "wild" Jeeps anymore?

The only we have run into was Labor Day last year. We found it in Granny Squares where you left it. That one claims to have been placed in a cache within the last two weeks.

Yikes, just looked at the log we wrote for that cache and I'm glad you grabbed it. I mentioned dropping it, so the only thing I can figure is....when I log something, if my computer times out and I have to go back and hit "send" again, I have to remember to drop the travel bug again. That must have happened there, but usually I catch it when it happens.

Thank you for grabbing it and getting it moving. It does look like the ones overseas are faring better than the ones stateside, which seem to be either "missing" or "in the hands of." Not many showing up in caches.
