What PC games do people play when they aren't using their PCs for geocaching? I've always enjoyed Age of Empires and Age of Empires II--I'm still on a dial-up, so I don't play anything on-line (with a dial-up, it doesn't matter how good my strategy is, I'll still get owned). I recently got Sims 2 for my birthday, and I've been playing that quite a bit--runs kind of choppy with my video card, but I'm patient enough to put up with it (see dial-up connection above). _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

I used to play a lot of FZeroX for N64 and Gran Turismo 1 for PS1/2 but since moving I haven't had either hooked up much... I recently started playing Quake1CTF again (suprisingly enough there are still people that play a game online that came out in 1996). |

Half Life 2 and Counterstrike Source have recently taken me away from my beloved Day of Defeat (a Half Life mod). Good news is that the creators are re-tooling DoD with the new HL2 engine to create DoD Source. Can't wait!
I also play City of Heros. Fun comic book themed multi.
I used to play a lot of real-time stragegy games as well. Now I'm back to board games for my strategy fix. |

I used to play Warcraft II and Starcraft daily. Then I switched to Urban Terror, which was a mod for Quake 3. I tried Warcraft III for awhile and couldn't get into it. Many of my friends are getting into World of Warcraft, but I've recently gotten into Poker. =)

I don't play any computer games, because I really stink at them. Even if I did play games, I doubt I'd get much time on them because my son hogs up the computer playing Diablo II and Halo. Lately, thought, he is spending more time on his XBox playing Halo II.
He's recently taught me how to play "Magic: the Gathering", a non-computer card game, and that's really fun. |

| Usually I just use my PC for non gaming stuff (if I do play a game on it, usually it's some mindless style thing like solitaire, minesweeper, or pocket tanks). I have an Xbox for the rest (keeps my hard drive from getting filled up anyways), currently playing Halo 2. |
