On a recent trip to Duluth, I stopped at 2 caches using the Pocket Queries on my Palm as a reference. I was out of Wi-Fi range, and couldn't get to the MNGCA website, but according to the queries that were downloaded that morning there should have been Lakers in both of the caches. Once I was able to get back online, I noticed on the MNGCA site they had been moved, but not updated on the GC.com website. Looking at all the activity on December 5th, several pieces were moved today that were also not recorded on GC.com. Here's a reminder of the Lakers logging rules.
p.s. Thanks Towlebooth for updating the maps and the missing Laker pieces.
How to Play and Scoring
When you find a laker in a cache, you must sign the logbook in the cache with your name and the lake that is etched on the game piece. In order to score points for that particular laker, you need to do 3 things:
1. Sign the logbook in the cache with the particular lake you found
2. Post a note on the cache page of both the cache you found it in and the one you placed it in.
3. Come here (www.mngca.org/lakers) and register your find by using the lake name and the code on the laker. |

So....who is going to run around and make sure this happens before awarding the points? _________________ I am amazed by how many people harp on the need to speak and write English in this country while exhibiting a fundamental lack of skills in the areas of spelling and sentence composition. Would this be irony, hypocrisy, or both? |

Let me guess ...
(chorus)
’won’t you give me three steps,
Gimme three steps mister,
Gimme three steps towards the door?
Gimme three steps
Gimme three steps mister,
And you’ll never see me no more.’ |
