OK, I recall being able to update coordinates on the Geocaching.com website (for example, when another cacher posts better coordinates than the listed ones). I no longer see the edit button on the cache page - is this a feature that disappeared, or was this just something from one of those parallel universes?

It's under 'log your visit' if you are owner of the page.

I think what you are asking about can only be done on puzzles

I believe ghost640 is asking how to correct the coordinates for his own cache listing. That can be done for any cache type, not just multis and puzzles.

Thanks all - that's exactly it, for caches placed by other people, you can update coordinates for puzzles and multis, but not traditional caches. Too bad, it would be useful to have that feature enabled for all cache types.

And Moe - the MN reviewers know that I've updated my own listings many times! Sometimes it's just hard to get it right... Smile

If you click on the coordinates for a puzzle or multi you get this screen:

http://img.geocaching.com/cache/log/8c10e985-d10f-4851-bab6-07ff041b41c4.png?rnd=0.05020702

You can enter in the solution and that way when you download the cache to your GPS it puts you in the correct location instead of searching at the posted coordinates.

Now I understand. Smile

Like some others, I was very confused by the original question. Rolling Eyes

It was a difficult question to phrase. I should have stuck with "Where's the little Edit button?"
