I think the plan is one for sure, but there are others in the area that we can go after. There was a WNC in the same area 2 weeks ago, but if you need them, we can go after them.

You may need rubber boots if it warms up. The earth dam will be active.
Unfortunately, I'm guessing this won't be a problem?

Yes, it would be the best way there. You have to walk across 9-mile creek as it enters the MN river, but that should still be iced over (if not, it's only a couple feet deep Laughing ).

Yes, It is your shortest route.

If you wait until the ice melt there is a nice rope ferry ramp that the local bike shop put out for all to use. If you want to chance the crossing the ice this lovely spring day, use caution.

Hey, that was fun! I'm still a little tired after our hike, but it was awesome. Thanks, Copaman, for hosting, and congrats again to TonkaMN & BigChiefS4 for the milestone!

Thank you to everyone who came out with us last night. It was a great night to celebrate this milestone with a whole bunch of fellow cachers. THANK YOU to Copaman for hosting and putting out both our milestone cache and the new LBH.

That pic of tonkaMN by the Thin Ice sign still cracks me up...

It was a great group of cachers who joined us for the milestone. Thanks for coming out and celebrating with us. Thanks, Mike, for the tribute and coin. Great food at Umbria, too. It was cold, but it was a great night.
