Beer in a state park? Don't forget your red Solo cups. |

WI is a little more lenient than MN:
Alcohol in state parks and forests
| Code: |
With a few exceptions, people of legal drinking age may bring alcoholic beverages along for their picnic or campsite meals in Wisconsin state parks and forests.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in these places:
At Big Foot Beach State Park
At Heritage Hill State Park
On observation towers
At the McMiller Sports Center in the Kettle Moraine State Forest--Southern Unit when the range is open to shooters.
Park visitors must be considerate of others and the environment, not noisy, disruptive or destructive in any way. |

| Pick up a MN State Park pass for your car. It is also good in that particular park. Should be cheaper than. |
Where did you see that? Quite a few years back they honored MN SP stickers on weekdays at WI Interstate, but last time I checked that had ended. |
It would be good to get the details on this |
I'll check on this for sure and post back here. |

Both parks used to honor stickers from either state, but that practice stopped a few years ago. I am still working on possibly getting them to do it again for the weekend. I'm not holding my breath, though. |

We had placed an order for the weather a few months ago. Plan on 70 degrees and sunny for the entire weekend.

| Just a reminder of the joint event with Wisconsin coming up May 17-19. It looks like the weather is quickly catching up to make camping nice and comfortable! |
