Has anyone come across and/or completed any geo-art? Know of any in our area? Not sure if there's another more common term for it but I'm talking about large map areas where cache owners place their hides in formation to create images when zoomed out on a map. Neat stuff!

I've seen a huge smiley in North Carolina near Chimney Rock.

And the alien head in Nevada north of Vegas. I guess if you do all the ones along the Paul Bunyan trail you'll have a cool line of smilies in the middle of the state.

There is a smiley face off of I94 just southeast of Black River Falls in Wisconsin.

There is the Madcow east of Emmons, Iowa and you may be a madcow by the time you're done!!!!! One of the Gc's is GC3BPRM.

Story County, Iowa has "SC," by Team_Schnauzer. Near Perry, Iowa, there is a large "P." A little southwest of there, Iowa Geocachers Organization has "IGO." JackpineSavage has put out a smiley face of puzzle caches southwest of Ames.
