Not to be confused with the OLDEST CACHES thread.
I love finding old caches, the ones with four digit GC numbers (GCxxxx). I hadn't realized until today that I personally own three 4 digit caches that are still active, including the first cache I ever hid.
We know KB is the true king and has many old caches. But do any of you active cachers have any active 4-digit caches? I know you're out there. |

I have 19 4-character listings active right now (3 of which are adopted from DLHCacher), the oldest of which is my first hide, GCGK1C. _________________ Hmm... |

| We have six, all of which were adopted from the Lil' Otter. Our first hidden crept into the realm of five digits. Hidden in early '07. |

From what I heard last weekend, it's probably not a PnG. |

That's what happens when you hide in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere.

That doesn't hurt either.
I originally drove within about 800' of the site, but now it's apparently about a half mile hike. I haven't seen the cache container myself in a few years - every report on it is positive so I haven't seen the need to revisit it. _________________ Hmm... |

The best I could tell while playing with GSAK is that KB owns 216 listings that aren't archived, the first being GC1269 (7/21/01), which he has labeled 001. _________________ Hmm... |

I just noticed we're seeing published caches with codes of GC3Xxxx. Soon we'll be at GC4xxxx!
Thanks for keeping those old ones active! |

9 of my 19 published caches have 4 digits. Five are still active. |

I have 17 with 4 digits and 5 of them are still active. One (GC3367) was adopted from Silent Bob. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |
