When: Saturday August 18th
Where: Cannon Falls - Miesville Ravine
Minnesota's 5th Annual Canoe-in Geocaching Event GC3JQGM
I need to know if anyone is planning on using this event as their 1000 or 2000 find milestone. Special door prize for two lucky winners if they can provide proof of their numbers. More than two of you out there? Names go into a hat. Prize compliments of Catzilla and VikingNav.

Really would like to attend this event. Just put in for the time off but won't know until 45 days before.
Always wanted to try paddling down a river and caching. |

I'm working on talking my better half into this.
BTW is there a place to rent canoes? |

| 2 months, 600 caches to find. That sounds like a challenge. I have 2,393 right now. |

I went and checked.. I am only looking for 1000 and 2000 milestoners. Sorry for leading you astray. I updated posting #1.
But you still have a chance at other great door prizes. Besides the typical door prizes I've provided over the years, there's talk of the county possibly providing something as well. And I've also solicited the MNGCA.. cough cough wink wink. |

| 172 more caches to 1000. If I actually get out caching a couple times, that shouldn't be too hard. I've had a blast the previous two years paddling, it would make a great milestone. |

| I have just been notified by county officials this morning that while it is not 100% certain, it is highly likely that Miesville Ravine will be open to the public in time for this fun event. We will have a plan B so keep an eye on the event listing but also keep your fingers crossed. |

| Less than a week to go and so far the forecast is looking good. Come join us for some paddling or biking. RSVP today so we have enough sweet corn for all. |
