Accepting Nominations...
Although we will accept nominations at any time, this thread is to remind everyone that we are accepting Nominations for Cache of the Month for June of 2012. You can submit COTM nominations by using one of the following three methods…1) Send ArcherDragoon or I (msteffel) a Private Message through MNGCA.org or 2) Send ArcherDragoon or I (msteffel) an Email through Geocaching.com or 3) Post a nomination in this thread. Nominations need to be written in a way that gives the reader a spoiler-free description of what make the cache special. You must include the Cache Owner, Cache Name and Waypoint with your nomination. Your nomination must also include a brief write-up for the cache (at least a sentence...but I would prefer something a bit longer...I honestly think we are capable of writing a couple sentences or a nice paragraph).
For full details check here, but the short version - if you find an outstanding cache, reply to this post!!! Nominations for June 2012 Cache of the Month will remain open until the end of the current month (May 31st). |

| I'd like to nominate Lodge Cryptex by woodtortoise. A lot of effort went into making this field puzzle, and it was tough and very clever. Really enjoyed the FTF party on this one. |

I would like to nominate Highline, by EskoClimber.
This cache is amazing! From the preparation for a hunt, to the preparation it took to get it placed, this is a winner! The location is something wonderful all on its own: beautiful hike in along the St. Louis River, and a view of the river like you won't see anywhere else, that's for sure! On top of it all, Esko places some great, fun, challenging caches. (The guy also happens to be a hoot to cache with) This cache is one of the most challenging I have ever taken part in finding, and knowing what it took to hide it is worth some recognition as well.
With 6 favorites on 11 finds, I'd have to say it's a great nomination for cache of the month. |

I would like to nominate BYOB by jaklimber for June's COTM.
The seemingly simple cache will probably fool you at least for a while. The craftmanship of the device is incredible. Jaklimber has created many notable caches but this one stands alone. If you read some of the logs you'll see that I am not alone stating that this is my all-time favorite.
Be sure to visit jaklimber's other cache just a short walk away. |

I second that nomination. Myself, tonkaMN and accordiangal did it this past weekend. We had an absolute blast! |
