Look at the image below. It was taken from the Dakota County GIS website. Check out all of the plots. Everyone of them are deeded with a legitimate tax payer and the property values range from $600 to about $2000. Yes, you read that right. The vegetation indicates that they are not likely to be garden plots. Unless the area was deforested and tilled up in the last year or so. Google sat maps also do not indicate any deforestation. Anyone else have any ideas?

| Looks like North American Land & Title in Monticello is planning to develop it, but they don't own the land needed to build a road to access it. |

Bing's aerial maps tend to be newer than Google's.
Also, my brain immediately lept to work thinking about anagrams of "John W Raskob". Maybe I should lay off the puzzles? |

Don't have one. That's just my guess from clicking on the various parcels and seeing who owns what. |

It's the plot plan as laid out in the long range development plan by the city/county, or it is the plot plan as submitted by the developer.
The City of Lakeville has a 20 year housing development plan that provides plots plans such as these. So I'm guessing that Inver Grove Heights also has a long range housing development plan. At this point it is just someone laying down lines and assessing the value for tax purposed as undeveloped property. If you wanted to check further, I would look at the city infrastructure plan and see what they have on the plans for sewer, water, gas, electric. The developer will also be responsible for installation, but they plans will be in long before they will ever be breaking ground. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |
