I'm thinking that, if the weather is nice this coming weekend (October 23-24) I will likely be heading down to the Eagan area to look for some caches. Most of my caching time has focused mainly in the northern and western areas of the TCs, and I'd like to see what's in the south metro.

Any recommendations on "must-do" caches in the Eagan area? Thanks in advance!

You could kill a whole day in Lebannon hills alone...

Some of the ones I like in the Eagan area:

There are a ton in Lebanon Hills. You could spend an entire day in there alone.

Wow... there sure are a lot of caches in Lebanon Hills Park. I'm not familiar with that area, but it looks like I will be by the time I've visited these five caches this weekend:

- Lebanon Hills (Marsha and Silent Bob)
- Little Bug Motel (Good-Boy)
- Haiku Mania (sui generis)
- Cheap Trick (Paklid)
- Nescafe (Scott and Millie the Wonder Dog Johnson)

I checked out the descriptions on "Chipmunk" and Arcticabn's "GPS Knowledge", which look like fun challenges, but I think I'll wait until I have someone to go with me to those. I try to avoid caches with high terrain ratings if I don't have a buddy with me.

Thanks for the suggestions, all. I hope the weather is nice this weekend.

I've added a few more to my "must-cache-in-Eagan" list for this weekend, provided the weather is clement and I get an early enough start on Saturday...

- UNGOWA!
- The Infamous Snipe Hunt (this one sounds fun)
- Do the Dew!

If anyone is interested in joining me, just send me a PM. I'll only be going if it's not raining, though.

These are both in the same park and are within walking distance of each other.
