Why is it, t when I load caches into my gps on my 4 yr. old home desk top computer, the caches load in about 3 seconds but when I load caches from my 1 yr. laptop, it takes 30 seconds or more?

virus protection enabled maybe?

Also make sure you are using the powered USB port on your laptop.
