| Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far. My plan is to start a series of events for those that are adventurous but either don't know where to go to get the best authentic cuisine or don't have anyone to go with. My hubby is NOT adventurous so I haven't tried a lot of various foods. Gilby has agreed to co-host the first event with me to try out his recommendation for Ethiopian food so we'll be posting the details soon! Watch for if you're adventurous! |

Oops, hadn't seen this thread. Once the Useless Drivel thread started, I kind of stopped bothering to go to the "Non Geocaching" room. Anyway, as you may have noticed, I had an event published at a Thai restaurant yesterday. As you said, great minds must think alike. It certainly won't be a bad thing to have multiple events going on! Also, I bet I know what Gilby's recommendation for Ethiopian food is, and I'm looking forward to the event! I can even probably go if it's on a weekday, since it's near where I work. |

| I've been wanting to continue where Kurt Franke left off three or four years ago and wanted to host a Burrito Buddies in my area. Will have to figure that out. Nothing better than enchiladas and Does Equis. Stay Thirsty My Friends. |

For Korean, King's in Fridley & Dong Yang in Columbia Heights. Dong Yang is rather small - at the rear of a grocery store.
Victor's 1959 Cafe in S. Mpls is great for Cuban. Also rather small, but great food & service! |
