I think we need a ruling.
If the caches are registered, can they be unarchived? |
As long as the cache meets the current guidelines I don't see any issues. |
It was pointed out to me that Groundspeak's policy is to not unarchive caches for the purposes of adoption - something I missed in reviewer 101 school.
I think in this case an exception may be able to be made, but understand that each cache and exception is unique and different (and may be evaluated differently at a later date). This exception doesn't imply others would be granted down the road. |

Totally makes sense to me. And it's one of Groundspeak's policies that actually makes sense. IMHO YMMV |

I'll submit it today. I think once that happens, I would guess that it could be unarchived immediately unless we hear from the county. |

You won't get one unless it has not been approved. But after a weekend, I would not count on a response either way until about Tuesday. That's my experience anyway. |

I archived 31 unregistered caches today. |
THIRTY ONE? OMG, I never expected that many to go unregistered. I figured there'd be a handful but thirty one.. wow. |
I thought you had registered all of yours, Bart. Why did you decide to skip the ones in Spring Lake Park? |
The King owns them now though my name may still be on the listing. They didn't get registered? That's too bad.. The Victimize Geocachers was my favorite over there of the ones I planted.
KB, I'll register that one if Fruitcake is willing to unarchive it and you're willing to adopt it back to me. The others I don't care about so much. |
By the way, Victimize Geocachers was picked up recently by MNPEGuy. I have picked up the containers for all other archived caches to the east of that. If anybody knows of other abandoned caches in the park, please let me know. _________________ Alcohol & calculus don't mix. Don't drink & deriv |

I recently placed a multi cache in Lebanon Hills, but I have some registration questions.
1. There is only room to put one stage on the registration form, but I need to put more than that. Do I somehow need to list them all, just the first, or just the last?
2. Is it really important to upload a picture? I didn't take one and it is a ways out there.
3. Is there someone at the park I should contact, or submit what I have and call it good?
Does anyone have the answers to any of these? Thanks! |

For my multis in Byllesby, I listed only the first stage. Fruitcake will be able to determine if the other stages are good or bad.
Picture not required, and haven't uploadedf one yet.
Submit and call it good. If it's suspect, they will contact you. |
