I think that's a lot of driving. Razz

Seriously though, a couple of notes:

I know that the board members (at least one) try to attend every BB event to represent the organization (or at least have in the past - I assume this continues). To some degree it IS a lot of driving (perhaps to reach some of these outlying areas the standards need to be relaxed some).

Second, usually the out-state BB events are held every third month.

I think if there was one in GM though that I would be tempted to make the drive if the timing worked out...

I am working with a group on organizing the Cuyuna Lakes Area Geocachers. andrewmmc pointed out that you are looking for BB's in various locations. We are in the Crosby area (close to Brainerd) and may be interested. Since I have not been able to attend any because of date/distance, what all is involved?

I've never been there, but we could try the Waverly Cafe.

I am throwing my nomination in for Morris.

Two options for this are DeToy's. Kind of small, but good food. The other option would be Turtle Mountain Cafe at the University. We could reserve a meeting room elsewhere in the building and bring the food from the cafe into the meeting room.

There are caches in Morris and the surrounding communities. Hotels are available in town as well as camping. There is also a State park 20 miles away south of Starbuck.

For those coming from the cities it is about a three hour drive up I-94 and the west on MN 28. There are caching opportunities in Sauk Centre, as well as, the communities along MN-28.

Just something to like about as we are planning more Breakfast Buddy events.

I'm looking for some suggestions for BB friendly restaurants specifically in Litchfield. Anyone know of anything?

I'm told Main Street Cafe in Litchfield may be a viable option... but having never been there, I have no direct knowledge. (My sister used to live in Litch, she suggested it)

cwwiig got back to me on places to eat in Litchfield:
Swan's Cafe has room for a small group and standard American cafe food, a good "small town" atmosphere. The VFW, known as "Heroes," has plenty of room to accommodate a large group (they frequently hold wedding receptions), serves burger and fry style meals and has tap beer and a full bar.

Looking for locations in Redwood Falls for a Breakfast Buddies. The restaurant needs to be able to host a group on a Saturday morning at 9. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can come up with in Redwood would be the Country Kitchen right along HWY 71. I've never been in that one so I'm not sure how it is set up. All the other places I can think of are either more geared towards (open) later in the day or wouldn't be big enough.
