Yes! It's awesome!
No I don't like it.

How about rating on a scale of 1 - 10 instead of the black or white of "awesome" or "don't like"?

I think that the Challenges, as they stand, have potential but also have a long, long, way to go before I will take them seriously. But all of you that participated in the flagging and thumbs-downing JUST TO PROTEST should be ashamed. Take your beef up with Groundspeak and not with those playing with the challenges.

I'm surprised that they have the thumb up/down feature - but, perhaps Groundspeak should do that for the Challenge feature. Seems to me that the Challenges are just about what folks do on waymarking.com with a twist.

Right now for me they seem to be a lot more for the kids. When I first looked at them I though this is great now instead of a ? icon you get an actual challenge one. These seem like modified silly virtuals to me.

I was thinking they were more like the challenges that were in place long before Groundspeak implemented this one, like the Lucky 7 Series or the famous 100 caches in a day, or a cache a day for a whole year one too. Now those kind made me want to go out and see if I can do it.
