Too cold for me to cache today . I'm getting computer things done. I, too, like Ontario's symbol. I'm waiting to see Manitoba's. I chuckled at Iowa's souvenir. This past summer I biked up switchbacks of sorts on the Decorah bike trail, caching somewhat along the way. At the top of the high hill I expected a nice vista. All I saw were cornstalks towering over me. The souvenir is most fitting.

Growing up in Wisconsin, I remember those long, boring drives across Iowa’s Interstate 80 with nothing to look at but corn fields. By the time we hit Nebraska, I never wanted to see Iowa again. Half way across Nebraska, I’d wish I was back in Iowa.

| I just noticed the Manitoba souvenir today. It's nice that the icon isn't just a shape of Manitoba -- it has a small picture. Why couldn't they also do this for the US states?? Liven them up a bit? |

Current Count is 44. I guess 7 more to go if they include DC as part of the state count.
Also awarded Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz Germany and Manitoba, Canada

| Tomorrow is international Geocaching Day. Find a cache, or attend an event and receive another "Special" souvenir. Not sure if challenges count. |

How do you know if there's a souvenir for a certain day before that day? |
