Here are the MN caches that are hardest on life-forms. Now KB has one in the top 3, but I bet most of you can't remember visiting it.

Are these actual logs (DNF or FIND) rather than including notes as well?

I count all logs (finds, DNFs, notes), and I'd guess the number of actual visits to most caches is probably higher than even that count. But there is no way to really know.

It's good enough for what I need though. Thanks RR!

The wheels are in motion, friendly contact has been made and reciprocated -- all is good Cool
Nobody register or pull your Champlin cache just yet.

I spoke at length this afternoon over the phone with the Champlin Director of Parks and Recreation about geocaching. I mentioned some of the concerns we have regarding some of the restrictions in their new policy. He admitted that he and the park and rec board hadn't put a lot of thought into the policy but had pretty much copied Three Rivers Parks' policy verbatim. He graciously suggested that I mark up a copy of the policy, indicating areas of concern and that they would consider changes based on this input.

Items I know I will address are:
- The limited parks that caches are allowed in
- The April 1st expiration of cache permits rather than 1 year from placement.
- Clarification that one cache per person per park does not rule out mult-caches

I would appreciate feedback from others regarding Champlin's policy. I plan to submit my response early next week.

Please remember, this is a public forum that may be viewed by the parties involved. Let's try to impress on them what a responsible group of folks we are. Wink

*** He just needs to see caching in action. *** CITO CITO CITO!!
Education is ALWAYS the key in these negotiations!

My recomendation?? Champlin should leave us alone unless a problem develops (which there will never be a problem) -- THEN make some rules. Forcing registration is silly -- not like there are people lining up to place caches there -- I think the only people who have ever even bothered to put caches in Champlin are Moe, aoeal and me.
